Today Assemblymember Avelino Valencia joined CalCCI members NeighborWorks Orange County, Clearinghouse CDFI, and nphs at the Salvation Army Center of Hope Orange County.

This isn’t just another building going up. It’s a comprehensive homelessness solution combining shelter with wraparound services, designed to move families from crisis to stability to permanent housing.

This is what CDFIs finance: projects that traditional lenders don’t take on, but communities desperately need. The State of California supports these investments through Cal IIP, the state’s community development finance program.
